Mission

The voter turnout of Chinese Americans is about 20% - 30%. The voice of Chinese Americans would be ignored by this relatively low voter turnout. To have the voice of Chinese Americans heard, to strive for the rights of Chinese Americans, and to promote the status of Chinese Americans, voting is the first step!

Many people immigrate to the U.S., hoping to have a better life and to give their children better education and a bright future. In the U.S., we recognize freedom of religions, human rights, right to vote, freedom of speech, equal opportunities and basic social protection.

However, we still need to strive for our rights in order to truly receive and protect the rights. Below are the best approaches:

  • Become a citizen
  • Take action to vote
  • Participate in local community activities
  • Encourage others to become citizen and to vote, and explain citizen rights to others

We have to advocate and protect our rights, and fight for the higher status of the next generation of Chinese Americans.
